Description

The SS-03701 twin Leg Elasticated Fall Arrest Lanyard is designed to provide dependable fall protection while allowing users to remain 100% connected during movement. Manufactured with a traditional tear webbing shock absorber housed within a protective shock pouch, the system incorporates a continuous backup webbing for added security. The tear webbing shock pack features white polyester tear webbing with a black backup webbing and offers a maximum tear-out of 1.75 metres, helping to reduce forces generated during a fall.

Engineered for controlled performance, typical peak loads during a fall factor 2 only reach approximately 4kN peak arrest, with a maximum arresting force of 6kN. The lanyard is constructed from 25mm polyester webbing with a minimum breaking load of 22kN, supporting robust durability in demanding working environments. The twin elasticated legs shorten when relaxed to reduce snagging and trip hazards, improving safety during active use.

Supplied in a maximum length of 1.8 metres, measured between the bearing points of the hooks, the SAL-E is available with a choice of connectors, including carabiner and scaffold hook configurations. Users should note that exchanging connectors may alter the overall length beyond the maximum allowable limit under the relevant EN standard. Designed for users up to 140kg maximum weight, the lanyard also features contrast colour stitching to aid pre-use visual inspection.
