The SS-01024S Entry Level Fall Arrest Safety Harness is a lightweight and dependable solution designed to support the body and distribute forces effectively in the event of a fall. Featuring both a rear dorsal “D” fall arrest attachment point and a front sternum “D” fall arrest attachment point, the harness is compatible with any EN compliant fall protection system, with certified fall arrest points clearly marked with an A. The rear “D” ring should always be used as the primary anchorage, while the front connection is primarily intended for work positioning.
Constructed from durable 45mm polyester webbing, the PBH02 is fitted with carbon steel, zinc plated fittings for strength and reliability. Designed to accommodate users up to a 140kg maximum weight, the harness includes four points of adjustment, offering maximum adjustability across all sizes to achieve a secure and stable fit. The integrated stand-up rear “D” ring allows for easier connection when fitting the harness, improving efficiency on site.
Comfort has been considered throughout the design, with horizontal comfort leg straps that do not ride up into the groin, reducing pinch points and allowing greater freedom of movement during active work. Reinforced webbing at key stress points enhances durability, while contrast stitching supports clear pre-use inspection. Integrated fall arrest indicator tabs allow the user to confidently determine whether the harness has been subjected to fall forces. All individual harness information is securely stored within a protective label pouch for convenient reference.
For fall arrest applications, the PBH02 must be used in conjunction with an energy absorber or load limiting device with a maximum impact force of 6kN. A predetermined rescue plan must form part of the safe system of work, and the recommended minimum anchor strength is 12kN.
